Need some help here.....

I really want Matriux to be my OS of choice. But for right now I can't even get it to connect. My atheros card in my EEEPC 1005HA isn't recognized, and when I used my Netgear 111v3 (usb card) I can see my network, but when I put the WPA in I can enter in everything but the last character of my passcode. Even if I join an open network it'll tell me "connected" but I can't get an IP. Why did they choose Wifi-Radar? Why not wicd or something? ... Anyways. I could really use some help to get up and going if anyone has some ideas. Thanx.

As far as your network card problem is concerned i think i can help you.
I am using modem which is connected thru usb which was not recognized initially.
Solution to your problem::

open up a Konsole terminal and type

sudo pppoeconf

and reply what you are able to see.

I think your recognized device will be recognized.
