We had to set-up the BSNL connection network in Windows. How to do this in Matriux. I am unable to access the internet thus not able to utilise the OS. Pls help.

Assuming that you are using BSNL broadband open up a terminal and type

Code:
pppoeconf

and follow the instructions

Thank you for your reply.
I opened the terminal and typed the code "pppoeconf"
but it showed an error that I dont have any Ethernet adapter installed and if I want to manually detect the adapter I should use "modconf" but when I use this command it shows that modconf is also not installed and it gave a command to install it, but that din't help either.
Please note that I have been using BSNL network connection through LAN adapter.

N.B.: I am new to Matriux. Please help.
